Registered Nurse

Come join our growing team of mental health professional staff!  Due to an expansion of our program, Northwestern Mental Health Center is looking for a Registered Nurse to serve adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses primarily within their home and/or community.  Services will be delivered primarily within Polk County, but may include work in Marshall, Kittson, Red Lake, Mahnomen and Norman Counties.  Must have a valid MN license.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with people with serious mental illness. Duties include: coordination/consultation with primary care providers, coordinate medical and psychiatric treatment, medication education, treatment planning, crisis management, skills training, assistance with daily living skills, and a variety of other individual and group mental health services.  Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings. Competitive salary and benefits. Candidates may be required to live in counties served.

Community Mental Health Specialist

Northwestern Mental Health Center is hiring a mental health practitioner for a Community Mental Health Specialist position.  Come join our growing team!  The position serves adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses in Kittson and Marshall Counties.  Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human service field, but consideration will be given to candidates with significant experience working with people with serious mental illness. Duties include: treatment planning, crisis management, skills training, assistance with daily living skills, benefits assistance, and a variety of other individual and group mental health services.  Looking for individuals willing to work a flexible schedule and live in or near assigned area. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Position is salaried with full benefits. Candidates may be required to live in counties served.
